Listen to the Audio Livestream of the Center’s Upcoming Supreme Court Cases
Listen as the Center presents oral arguments in two cases consequential to U.S. abortion rights.

The U.S. Supreme Court will be livestreaming both of the Center’s upcoming Supreme Court cases on its website. Mark your calendars now to listen as Center attorneys present oral arguments in these consequential cases that will impact the future of U.S. abortion rights:
November 1, 2021 @ 10 a.m. ET
Whole Woman’s Health v. Jackson
This case challenges a Texas law that bans abortion care at approximately six weeks of pregnancy and incentivizes individuals—including anti-abortion activists—to seek monetary penalties by suing anyone who provides abortion care or assists someone in obtaining care after the law’s limit. The Texas law took effect September 1, 2021, and has ended most abortion access in the state. The Court will decide whether federal courts have the power to review Texas’s abortion ban, which prohibits the exercise of a constitutional right, by delegating to the general public the authority to enforce that prohibition through civil actions.

December 1, 2021 @ 10 a.m. ET
Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization
This case, which challenges a Mississippi law banning abortion at 15 weeks of pregnancy, marks the first time the Court will rule on the constitutionality of a pre-viability abortion ban since Roe v, Wade in 1973.
