The Fate of Roe v. Wade May Rest on This Woman’s Shoulders
This piece in Time Magazine profiles the Center’s Julie Rikelman, head of U.S. litigation, who will appear before the Supreme Court on December 1 to present arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. Rikelman, who argued and won the Center’s June Medical Services v. Russo case in 2020, this time will argue against another state law, this one a Mississippi abortion ban. The case is the most consequential abortion rights case in decades.
