SARJAI Condemns the SCOTUS Decision Overruling Roe v. Wade
The South Asia Reproductive Justice and Accountability Initiative (SARJAI), is a network of non-governmental organizations, advocates and legal experts that work towards the advancement of sexual and reproductive rights in the South Asian region.
SARJAI has joined the international community in denouncing the regressive Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization judgment of the U.S Supreme Court. This judgment overrules Roe v. Wade and takes away the constitutionally protected right to abortion.
