Implement Constitution to end preventable maternal deaths
Evelyne Opondo, the Center’s Senior Regional Director for Africa, wrote this opinion piece for The Standard calling for the government of Kenya to implement maternal health standards to align with its constitution. “Eleven years since the promulgation of the Constitution, women and girls still demand to enjoy their reproductive rights in toto,” said Opondo.
