State Attorneys General Amicus Brief in Zurawski v. State of Texas

Amici are Attorneys General from 20 states and the District of Columbia. Amici describe how the lack of health- and life-preserving abortion care in Texas forces patients to bear the costs and health risks of interstate travel while severely burdening the healthcare system of amici states and other states. The Attorneys General argue that ensuring the availability of medically necessary abortion care serves the public interest and is necessary to avoid serious patient harm and spillover effects in many amici states.
