Visiting Scholar: Professor Maya Manian, 2011-2012
The Center is thrilled to welcome Professor Maya Manian of the University of San Francisco School of Law as a Visiting Scholar in 2011-2012 for a series of visits. Former Center for Reproductive Rights Blackmun Fellowship Attorney, Professor Manian’s research focuses on access to reproductive healthcare and its relationship to gender equality. She publishes and presents regularly on abortion rights and related constitutional issues. Her publications include: The Irrational Woman: Informed Consent and Abortion Decision-Making (Duke Journal of Gender Law &, Policy, 2009), and Rights, Remedies, and Facial Challenges (Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly, 2009).
