Texas Supreme Court Ruling in Whole Woman’s Health v. Jackson

In this ruling on March 11, 2022, the Texas Supreme Court ruled that the case to Texas’s draconian abortion ban cannot proceed against the Texas Medical Board and other similar state licensing officials, who were the only remaining defendants in the challenge. The ruling in the case, Whole Woman’s Health v. Jackson, effectively ends the federal court challenge to the state’s ban.
