“Defending Human Rights: Abortion Providers Facing Threats, Restrictions and Harassment” Teleconference and Webinar

The Center for Reproductive Rights invites you to a discussion about its recently released report, Defending Human Rights: Abortion Providers Facing Threats, Restrictions, and Harassment. The report recognizes abortion providers as human rights defenders who work to further women’s human rights in the face of threats, economic reprisals and discriminatory restrictions and documents how attacks on providers undermine women’s ability to obtain abortion services.

Karen Leiter joined the Center for Reproductive Rights in July 2008 as Human Rights Researcher in the U.S. Legal Program. She has 15 years of experience working in the U.S. and internationally as a researcher, advocate, educator and policy analyst in the field of health and human rights.
