Speak Out Now Against the “Domestic Gag Rule”
In June, the Trump administration proposed a dangerous new rule that would prohibit providers that receive federal Title X family planning funds from making referrals for abortion care. The rule would also prohibit granting Title X funds to family planning providers that perform abortion.
As a result of this proposed “Domestic Gag Rule,” health care providers that receive Title X funding would be forced to either withhold important health information from patients or lose critical funding.
All women deserve access to the best medical care and comprehensive health information from the providers they trust. By restricting the content of patient-provider communications, the “Domestic Gag Rule” puts women’s health at risk.
