Julia C. Long
Coordinator (Congress), U.S. Federal Policy & Advocacy
Julia joins the Center as a Coordinator for the U.S. Federal Policy & Advocacy Team to support to the Federal Team by coordinating the team’s congressional advocacy, providing crucial support and project management related to the Women’s Health Protection Act, and facilitating cross-department legislative work.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Julia has lived in Washington, D.C. since 2017. Prior to joining the Center, Julia was a regional research director at the House Majority PAC, where she conducted opposition research focused on congressional candidates. Previously, Julia was a senior research associate at the Campaign for Accountability, where she specialized in extensive research to hold the anti-abortion movement accountable for its deceptive tactics. Julia graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014 with a B.A. in Social Work and she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public administration online through the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
