Jonathan Fine
Assistant Secretary
Jonathan is head of Global Investment Grade within the Financing Group. He is a managing director ally to the LGBTQ+ Network and a sponsor to the Investment Banking Council for the Advancement of Racial Equity. Previously, Jonathan served as co-chair of the Investment Banking Sustainable Solutions Council, and has served as a member of the Firmwide Finance Committee and Bank Relations Working Group. Prior to his current role, he was head of Investment Grade Syndicate in the Americas and was responsible for the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Debt Capital Markets business. Earlier in his career, Jonathan shared responsibility for European FIG Debt Capital Markets and Investment Grade Syndicate in London. Before that, he worked in the Derivatives Marketing Group within Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities. Jonathan joined Goldman Sachs in 2001 as a vice president and was named managing director in 2007 and partner in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, Jonathan worked at JP Morgan, initially as a spot foreign exchange trader and later in the Derivatives Marketing Group. Jonathan serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Reproductive Rights. Jonathan earned a BSc (Hons) in Banking and International Finance from City University Business School, London, in 1995.
