Hannah Tennies, Senior Program Associate

Hannah joined the Center in 2017 and is responsible for supporting the Lawyers Network team in its efforts to increase understanding, engagement, and support for the Center’s work among legal leaders across the United States.

Hannah came from the National Organization for Women (NOW), where she worked as a Policy and Grassroots Outreach Intern. In that role, Hannah researched, created and distributed activist toolkits for the National Action Program focusing on issues like access to reproductive health care and voting rights. Prior to NOW, Hannah interned for the National Partnership for Women and Families on their workplace team researching Paid Family and Medical Leave as well as other policies that support working women.

Hannah received her B.A. in Political Science and her B.A. in Sociology as well as a Certificate in Women, Policy, and Political Leadership from American University.
