Forward Fight for Reproductive Freedom

The Center for Reproductive Rights is fighting forward for our reproductive freedom. Join us today.

Two years ago, the U.S. Supreme Court eliminated the constitutional right to abortion—and with it, our freedom to make our own decisions about our bodies, lives, and families.

Since then, extremist politicians have banned or severely restricted abortion in almost half the U.S. states. They’re also pushing to ban abortion nationwide, even in states where it’s protected.

And they’re not stopping at abortion. Extremists are threatening to strip away more of our reproductive freedoms, including access to:

  • IVF

  • Contraception

  • Prenatal care

  • Miscarriage care

. . .and even our right to receive hospital emergency care for life-threatening pregnancy complications.

It’s an all-out assault on our reproductive freedom. And it must be stopped.

That’s why the Center for Reproductive Rights is in courthouses and statehouses across the country, using the power of law to challenge extreme laws, support state ballot initiatives, and advocate for federal legislation to protect reproductive rights and access nationwide.

With your support, the Center will lead the fight to not only restore our rights, but build new rights enshrined into law—so all people across the U.S. will have the freedom to make their own reproductive decisions, free from political interference.

Harm of Abortion Bans

The Supreme Court’s overruling of Roe v. Wade brought devastating consequences, leaving millions of women and other pregnant people without access to essential abortion care—even when they face health- and life-threatening conditions.
