Center Saddened by Murder of Dr. George Tiller

After the murder of Kansas abortion provider Dr. George Tiller, Center President Nancy Northup spoke about the loss of the defender of women’s rights in various outlets including the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and CNN. She also authored an editorial on CBSnews.com on the ramifications of Tiller’s murder and appeared on NPR in a segment for All Things Considered, “Abortion Providers on High Alert.”  In 2008, the Center represented two-thousand of Dr. Tiller’s patients when a citizen-impaneled grand jury attempted to subpoena their private medical records.
