What to Know About the Mississippi Abortion Law Challenging Roe v. Wade

The Center will argue the case before the Supreme Court on December 1. The New York Times quotes a statement from the Center that highlights what pregnant people will face if the Court uses Dobbs to restrict or eliminate the right to abortion, “For many, the barriers will simply be too high, and they will be forced to endure the substantial risks of continued pregnancy and childbirth.”
