Walker v. Jesson: Brief of Pro-Choice Resources as Amicus Curiae in Support of Respondent
In 2013, the Center for Reproductive Rights filed an amicus brief before the Minnesota Court of Appeals in Walker v. Jesson on behalf of Pro-Choice resources, a reproductive justice organization based in Minnesota that helps low-income women access abortion and reproductive healthcare. The case was brought by a conservative legal group in an attempt to eliminate public health insurance coverage for therapeutic abortion services, which was established by the Minnesota Supreme Court almost twenty years ago in a landmark case brought by Pro-Choice Resources.
