Office of the General Counsel
The Office of General Counsel (OGC) is responsible for advising the Secretary on legal matters and issuing written legal opinions which have the power of law within VA. Its primary objective is to ensure the just and faithful execution of the laws, regulations and policies that the Secretary has responsibility for administering.
