Say NO to discrimination in health care

The Trump-Pence administration just proposed another rule condoning discrimination in health care by attacking the Affordable Care Act’s civil rights protections for women, the LGBTQ+ community, and people with Limited English Proficiency.

No one should face discrimination when seeking medical help. The Administration should be enforcing the protections of the Health Care Rights Law, but instead it is attempting to erode the law’s essential prohibitions against discrimination. We can still block this rule, but we need you with us.

The public commenting period on the proposed rule is now open. Make your voice heard now and submit an official comment to prevent discrimination in health care.

Comments that contain unique perspectives and experiences are a crucial factor in influencing the rulemaking process. We encourage you to customize your comment with any additional concerns you have regarding the proposed rule, including your personal experiences. We know that these examples have significant impact on the decision-makers.

You can choose any or all of the pre-written statements to include in your comment if you wish.
