South Carolina Supreme Court Temporarily Blocks Six-Week Abortion Ban
The Center’s senior counsel Genevieve Scott was quoted in recent articles about the South Carolina Supreme Court’s decision to temporarily block the state’s six-week abortion ban in a case brought by the Center.
“Today’s decision is a huge relief for people who desperately need abortion care in South Carolina right now,” said Scott. “Many have been panicking for far too long as they try to figure out where they can turn to for services, if at all. This unjust ban is incredibly dangerous and jeopardizes people’s health and well-being.”
