The Skimm This podcast interviewed Center president and CEO Nancy Northup about what to expect if the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade. Northup stated, “There is going to be an immediate crisis in abortion care. The harms coming out of reversing almost 50 years of Supreme Court precedent are going to be swift and they’re going to be devastating.” Northup e added that those most impacted by the ruling would be people struggling to make ends meet, communities of color, young women, and those in the South or Midwest, and outlined what other rights are at risk.
