Six-Week Abortion Ban Takes Effect in Georgia
The Center was featured in multiple stories around Georgia’s six-week abortion ban, after a ruling by a three-judge panel at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit allowed the ban to take effect on July 20.
Discussing the impact of the ban in a story for the Independent, the Center’s Staff Attorney Alice Wang said, “Doctors will be forced to choose between providing time-sensitive, medically necessary care and risking criminal prosecution.”
