New! Repro Red Flags: Agency Watch
A new Center tool mobilizing against the Trump administration’s anti-repro appointments.

Donald Trump has already begun nominating anti-reproductive rights officials to lead federal agencies and programs that directly impact access to reproductive care—including abortion, birth control, in vitro fertilization (IVF), and maternal health care.
The Center for Reproductive Rights’ new tool, Repro Red Flags: Agency Watch, will share research on these appointees, their anti-repro backgrounds, and the key powers of the agencies they will oversee. Importantly, Agency Watch will also provide opportunities to take action to oppose those who may endanger our reproductive rights and health.
Explore the tool:
“Donald Trump and his allies are set to stack his administration with anti-rights extremists—and we refuse to give them free passes,” said Liz McCaman Taylor, Senior Federal Policy Counsel at the Center. “This new resource will expose the backgrounds and viewpoints of these appointees and make sure the public has the tools to push back against those preparing to use their powers to restrict our reproductive rights any way they can.”
During the appointment process, Agency Watch will:
- Track and analyze appointments to key positions. Agency Watch will examine appointees’ backgrounds—including “red flags” from their public statements, written works, legislative records, and ties to extremist organizations—to determine how appointees might impact reproductive rights if sworn in.
- Mobilize to oppose key anti-repro appointees who require Senate confirmation. The Center will build easy-to-use tools that let you send messages to your Senators to encourage them to vote no on the appointees who could pose the greatest threats to reproductive rights and health.
The new tool focuses on appointments within the administration that have a broad impact on access to reproductive health care via their policies and programs, such as White House staff, in addition to the Department of Health and Human Services, Department of State, and Department of Justice.
