Rakhi joined the Center in 2021 and is responsible for providing administrative and research support to the attorneys of the U.S. Litigation team. Prior to joining the Center, Rakhi worked as a research intern to Ambassador Norman Eisen at the Brookings Institution, where she focused on issues of democracy, anti-corruption, and government ethics.
Rakhi graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Economics. During college, she was involved in an extensive research project examining the passage of domestic violence-related gun legislation in different US states, and also served as an RA to Dr. Menaka Guruswamy, a Senior Advocate on the Supreme Court of India. She was also a Co-Editor-in-Chief of The Brown Journal of World Affairs.
