Raji Kalra
Chief Financial and Administrative Officer
Raji Kalra is the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of the Center for Reproductive Rights. In this role, she leads the organization’s financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and general accounting, and oversees its grant reporting, information technology systems and global operations. Raji also serves as the Center staff liaison to the Board of Director’s Finance and Audit Committees.
Raji brings over 16 years of nonprofit leadership experience as a chief financial and accounting officer for growing U.S.-based nonprofits and social enterprises. Most recently, she served as chief financial officer of the International Refugee Assistance Project. Additionally, she has experience working at Fortune 500 companies, including Accenture and American Express.
Throughout Raji’s career, she has developed strategies to help organizations grow and created systems and plans for efficient, effective operations while implementing policies and procedures to mitigate risk and enhance governance. She has been a change leadership consultant for the National Football League and an organizational design consultant for Global Outreach International. Raji also worked at the David Lynch Foundation, Harlem RBI/DREAM, KIPP NYC, Ascend Charter Schools and the Museum for African Art.
Raji received an MBA from Columbia Business School and an MA from John Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. She currently serves on four nonprofit boards, including roles as a board chair and vice chair.
