Nyasha Chingore
Regional Manager for Africa
Nyasha joined the Center in 2017 as Regional Manager for the Africa program. She is responsible for enhancing the Africa program’s internal organizational processes and infrastructure that will allow the program to effectively fulfill its mission and engage externally with key constituents. Nyasha also supports the work of the Africa program in multiple areas of program work, including litigation, advocacy, and capacity-building.
Prior to joining the Center, Nyasha was a program lawyer, leading the Sexual and Reproductive Rights work at the Southern Africa Litigation Center from 2011. Before that she served as a senior research and project manager for the AIDS and Human Rights Research Unit at the University of Pretoria from 2006-2011.
Nyasha received her LLM from the University of Pretoria, South Africa and her Bachelor of Laws with Honors from the University of Zimbabwe.
