Nancy McGregor
Nancy McGregor is a dedicated reproductive rights advocate and lawyer who has worked in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors for most of her career. She has served on various non-profit boards including Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast (Chair), the Houston Area Women’s Center, the American Leadership Forum, the Hobby Center Foundation, the Barnard College Athena Center, the Alley Theatre, the Menil Foundation Council, the Houston Food Bank, Grand Teton National Park Foundation, and Phoenix House Houston. She was appointed to the Greater Houston COVID Recovery Task Force and the City of Houston Women’s Commission. In addition to her service on the Center for Reproductive Rights board, she is currently a board member of the Greater Houston Community Foundation, where she has chaired the Philanthropic Impact Committee and is the Co-Founder and advisor to the Reproductive Rights and Justice Fund of Texas. Nancy is a recipient of Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award for leadership in furthering reproductive rights. A graduate of Barnard College and Harvard Law School, Nancy practiced law at a firm in Washington D.C. before serving as Special Assistant to the Director of the FBI and as Special Counsel to the Director of Central Intelligence, where she was a member of the CIA’s Covert Action Review Board.
