Megan Moore, Director, Foundations
Megan leads and manages the Center's foundations fundraising program, which secures and stewards grants from more than 40 institutional funding partners. She has over a decade of Development experience and a track-record of developing winning grant proposals and meeting annual revenue targets for foundation fundraising to sustain the Center’s expansion and growth.
Megan joined the Center in 2007 as Development Assistant and has taken on increased responsibilities during her tenure, serving as Development Associate, Manager of Foundations, and Director of Foundations since 2017. She has also overseen Development operations and intra-departmental work, supporting departmental budgeting and revenue tracking as well as donor communications and messaging across revenue streams.
Prior to joining the Center, Megan worked in abortion care services, holding administrative and clinical positions with reproductive health care providers in Atlanta, Philadelphia, and New York.
Megan earned her B.A. in Women’s Studies and Communications from SUNY New Paltz. She has completed graduate courses towards her master of public administration in Nonprofit Management from Baruch College Marxe School of Public Affairs, leadership courses from the Support Center for Nonprofit Management, and grant proposal writing and budgeting trainings from the Foundation Center. She lives in the Mid-Hudson Valley and is a passionate advocate for reproductive rights and animal rights.
