Louisa Thanhauser, Manager, State Advocacy Initiatives

Louisa joined the Center in 2017 and is responsible for supporting the integration of our litigation and advocacy efforts in the states, uniting and mobilizing organizations, coalitions, advocates, and individuals in support of the Center’s litigation. 

Louisa came from the National Abortion Federation, where she was the State Policy Associate, managing relationships with and providing advocacy support to abortion providers and advocates around the country. Prior to that, she served as a Fellow with NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri. 

Louisa received her BA in sociology from Cornell University, and her MSW from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis.
