Liz Wagner
Senior Federal Policy Counsel
Liz joined the Center in 2016, where she works with Congress and other national coalition partners on issues surrounding federal abortion restrictions, judicial and executive nominations, and maternal health.
Liz came from the U.S. Senate Minority Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, where she served first as a Women’s Policy Inc. fellow, and later as a women’s health policy advisor for Senator Patty Murray (D-WA). Prior to her time in the Senate, she worked as a state level advocate against anti-choice legislation in Louisiana, and with the National Institute of Reproductive Health/NARAL Pro-Choice New York, MergerWatch, and Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast.
Liz received her JD from Tulane University and her BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
