Lisa Rosenblum
Lisa Rosenblum served as Vice Chairman, Altice USA, a leading telecommunications company, prior to her retirement. She previously held the position of Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the company. Ms. Rosenblum was Executive Vice President, Government and Public Affairs, for Cablevision Systems Corp. prior to its acquisition by Altice. She also represented Madison Square Garden and AMC networks, prior to their spin off from Cablevision. Ms. Rosenblum served as Commissioner and Deputy Chairman of the New York Public Service Commission (NY PSC) before Cablevision. During her tenure, she was appointed Chairman of the Communications Committee of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners and led the states’ negotiations on the Telecommunications Act of 1996. An FCC appointment, she was the first Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of the Universal Service Administration Company, supporting national deployment of broadband services. Ms. Rosenblum also served as Chairman of the Cable Telecommunications Association of New York and was consistently named “one of the most powerful women in cable” by CableFAX magazine. Prior to joining the NY PSC, Ms. Rosenblum served as Assistant Counsel to the Governor of New York. Ms. Rosenblum serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors of Citymeals on Wheels in NYC and is a member and Vice Chairman of the Board of the Aperture Foundation, devoted to the publication and advancement of photography. Ms. Rosenblum holds a B.A. Cum Laude from Yale University where she received the Garside Prize in history on graduation and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served as an editor of the law review. Upon graduation, she clerked for U.S. District Court Judge T.F. Gilroy Daly, District of Connecticut, and joined the law firm of Webster and Sheffield, prior to her service in the Governor’s office. Ms. Rosenblum was honored by the NCAA with its Silver Anniversary Award in recognition of her athletic achievement as Captain and number one player of the women’s varsity tennis team at Yale.
