Lindsey Athanasiou

Lindsey joined the Center in early 2023 from a career building successful relationships that led to fundraising and revenue growth at organizations in the higher education and technology sectors across Greater Boston. She is passionate about social justice and intersectional feminist issues and dedicates much of her free time to advancing those causes. As a Major Gifts Officer in New England, she has the privilege of working with the Center’s generous and dedicated philanthropists throughout the region.

Prior to joining the Center, Lindsey was a fundraiser at Emerson and Babson Colleges where she helped create student and alumni programs that inspired record levels of giving and helped Babson launch a successful $500M capital campaign. In the private sector, Lindsey built the sales and partnerships functions at two high growth start-ups by focusing on customer and partner needs and always prioritizing people at the core of her work. She holds a Bachelor’s in Sociology with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from UMass Amherst and an MBA from Babson College.
