Laura Solomon
Senior Major Gifts Officer
Laura joined the Center in 2019 and is responsible for major gifts fundraising across the Tri-State Area. She is also the fundraising lead for the Center’s annual New York City Gala.
After a career in retail sales and human resources and eight years as a full-time stay-at-home parent, Laura began her career in Development in 2010, working for non-profits in New York focused primarily in Jewish philanthropy. Laura came to the Center from the Union for Reform Judaism where she served as the Senior Major Gifts Officer. Prior to that, she worked as a Development Director for Jewish National Fund as its first dedicated Director in Brooklyn, where she created a multi-million dollar campaign.
Laura is a graduate of the University of Missouri, Kansas City where she earned a BA in Art History.
