Laura Portuondo is a Peter and Patricia Gruber Fellow in Women’s Rights at the Center for Reproductive Rights. She works within the Center’s Judicial Strategy program and focuses on developing new, judicially-oriented theories for protecting reproductive rights. Laura has published or has work forthcoming in the UCLA Law Review and Yale Journal of Law and Feminism.

Before joining the Center, Laura earned a J.D. from Yale Law School and a B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Yale University. At Yale Law School, Laura was a Coker Fellow in constitutional law, founding member of the Reproductive Rights and Justice Project clinic, and editor of the Yale Law Journal.
