Jennifer joined the Center in 2018 and she is responsible for federal policy and legal advocacy work surrounding maternal health, immigration, detention, and federal abortion restrictions.
Jennifer joins the Center from WilmerHale, where she was a senior associate in the Regulatory and Government Affairs practice, advising various institutions on regulatory compliance and government investigations. At Wilmer, she managed a robust pro bono practice, and was a 2014, 2015, and 2016 Empire State Counsel nominee for the number of hours she spent on her pro bono work.
During law school, she volunteered at the ACLU of Pennsylvania (with a particular focus on illegal police stops and seizures). Prior to joining WilmerHale, she interned with the International Refugee Rights Initiative and the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
Jennifer earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she was senior editor for the Journal of Constitutional Law. She received her B.A. in Government from Connecticut College, graduating summa cum laude.
