Hannah Tennies
Senior Program Coordinator, Lawyers Network
Hannah joined the Center in 2017 and is responsible for supporting the Lawyers Network team in its efforts to increase understanding, engagement, and support for the Center’s work among legal leaders across the United States. Hannah also manages the Center’s engagement with law students and law student organizations, helping build awareness and support for reproductive rights issues among future lawyers.
Hannah joined the Center from the National Organization for Women (NOW), where she worked on the Policy and Grassroots Outreach team. Prior to NOW, Hannah interned for the National Partnership for Women and Families and for Senator Barbara Mikulski. Hannah also worked at American University’s Center for Community Engagement and Service, coordinating orientation and volunteer programs for new students.
Hannah received her B.A. in Political Science and her B.A. in Sociology as well as a Certificate in Women, Policy, and Political Leadership from American University. Hannah currently serves as a volunteer travel coordinator for the Northwest Abortion Access Fund and previously served on the board of the Women’s Information Network (WIN).
