Edigah Mugamangi
Senior Manager for Africa, Pro Bono Services
Edigah joined the Center in September 2022 as the senior manager for Africa pro bono services. He is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing a pro bono agenda to expand and deepen the network of pro bono law firms and attorneys in Africa. Prior to joining the Center, Edigah was the Legal Practice Manager of Justice Defenders where he oversaw a robust legal services program for prisoners and pioneered a Pro Bono Advocates Program. He also has served as the Program Manager for the Human Rights and Justice Program at the Kenyan Section of the International Commission of Jurists. He began his human rights career as an Assistant Program Officer in the Peace, Justice, and Reconciliation Program at Kituo Cha Sheria (Center for Legal Advice).
Edigah received his Bachelor of Laws degree from Moi University and his human rights master’s degree from Nairobi University. Edigah was admitted to the Kenyan Bar as an advocate in 2012.
