Doménica Merino, Legal Assistant
Doménica joined the Center in 2017 and supports the Center’s emerging work on assisted reproduction (AR), as well as providing administrative and research support to the attorneys of the U.S. Litigation team.
Prior to joining the Center, Doménica interned at the Harvard Law School Human Rights Clinic. She also gained extensive research experience through her previous internships with the Women & Health Initiative at the Harvard School of Public Health, the Harvard Global Health Institute in Rwanda, and the National Service for Women in Chile.
Doménica graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in 2017 with a B.A. in Social Studies, where she focused on health, law, and gender in Latin America. As part of her studies, she completed a senior honors thesis on reproductive rights in Ecuador and was a Weatherhead Center Undergraduate Associate and an undergraduate fellow for the Weatherhead Initiative on Gender Inequality (WIGi). During her time at Harvard, she organized the 9th Annual Latina Empowerment and Development Conference and served as president of Latinas Unidas.
Doménica is fluent in Spanish.
