Cici Coquillette
Staff Attorney
Cici joined the Center in 2021 and assists with all aspects of the Center’s U.S. litigation. She first worked at the Center in 2018 as a legal intern.
Before joining the Center, Cici was a Harvard PSVF Sumner M. Redstone Fellow with Gender Justice in St. Paul, Minnesota, working to advance strategic and impact litigation in reproductive rights, gender equity, and LGBT rights. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable John J. Tharp, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. During law school, she interned with the ACLU Women’s Rights Project and Rise Up, a program of the Public Health Institute.
Cici received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where she was Notes Chair of the Harvard Law Review. Cici also received an M.P.P. from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and wrote her joint degree thesis on Measuring Maturity: Adolescent Sex and Reproduction, Neuroscience, and the Law. While at the Kennedy School, Cici worked closely with the Women and Public Policy Program and was co-chair of the Gender Policy Union. She holds a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis and an M.A. from the University of Chicago.
