Alexandra Reidon
Office Manager for Geneva
Alexandra joined the Center
in 2017 where she manages the finance and operations for the Center’s office in
Geneva as well as provides Program support to the Center’s work across the
European region.
Alexandra previously served
as the International Office Manager of Women’s International League for Peace
and Freedom (WILPF). She also worked for the International Campaign to Abolish
Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) as their Administrative and Finance Manager where she
set up the financial, accounting, human resources and operational system for
the ICAN Geneva office when it opened in 2011. Prior to that, she worked for
many years as Project Officer and Administrator on multi-donor research
projects at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR). Alexandra
also provided consultancy for the Chief Executives Board of the United Nations
(UNCEB) to restructure and update their Management Handbook. She was also part
of the Geneva Liaison Office of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
when the latter received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005.
Alexandra received her Master
of Arts in Languages and Business from Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University and her B.A.
in Applied Languages &, International Trade from Paul Valéry Montpellier 3 University.
She also holds a University Diploma in European Economic and Social Affairs from
Richter Montpellier 1 University.
Alexandra’s native tongue is French
and is fluent in English and German. She also speaks Chinese.
