Alexander Wilson
Staff Attorney
Alex joined the Center’s Judicial Strategy team as a Staff Attorney in 2022. His work includes supporting the Center’s litigation and policy efforts by producing original research and publications, drafting amicus briefs, engaging with advocacy partners, and tracking legal developments and scholarship impacting reproductive rights.
Prior to joining the Center, Alex served as a law clerk to the Hon. Sarah Netburn of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Before that, he expanded access to paid family leave and paid sick time through legal advocacy with A Better Balance as an NYU School of Law Public Interest Fellow. He graduated cum laude from NYU School of Law where he served as a notes editor for the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy and was a Robert McKay Scholar. During law school he interned with the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, and Brooklyn Legal Services’ LGBT/HIV Project. He received his B.A. in political science, magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California.
