Agata Pelka
Senior State Legislative Counsel
Agata joined the Center in 2017, where she works to advance proactive policy strategies in the states.
Agata came from the National Health Law Program, where she was a staff attorney focusing on reproductive health care coverage in Medicaid, other public programs, and private insurance. Prior to her time at NHeLP, Agata was as a Georgetown Women’s Law and Public Policy Fellow at the National Women’s Law Center and Reproductive Justice Fellow at the National Abortion Federation. Agata served on the board of directors of If/When/How for five years.
Agata received her JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law and her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School.
