Abby Whitmire
Major Gifts Officer, Texas and Central U.S.
Abby joined the Center in 2024 with 14+ years of experience fundraising for 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and PAC organizations. Her work in the reproductive rights movement includes public affairs field organizing, government relations, and fundraising in the Gulf South. As Major Gifts Officer, Texas and Central U.S., she has the honor of working with the Center’s steadfast supporters throughout the region.
Prior to joining the Center, she worked at the University of Houston, Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast/Planned Parenthood Texas Votes, The Posse Foundation – New Orleans, and the Alzheimer’s Association.
Abby holds a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). She resides in Houston.
