Liz McCaman Taylor

Liz McCaman Taylor is Senior Federal Policy Counsel on the Federal Policy and Advocacy Team, in the Government and External Relations Division at the Center for Reproductive Rights. Liz leads the Center’s US Federal Government Executive Branch strategy.

Liz joined the Center after six years at the National Health Law Program (NHeLP), where she directed NHeLP’s Contraceptive Equity Initiative. Before NHeLP she was a Policy Associate at the National Academy for State Health Policy. Liz has also worked for the California State Board of Pharmacy, the UCSF-UC Law Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy, and the ACLU of California’s Statewide Reproductive Justice Project.

Liz received her MPH in Health Policy with a concentration in Women, Gender and Health from Harvard University’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and her JD from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings). She completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola Marymount University, earning a BA in Political Science.

Liz is the proud fur parent of a Swedish Vallhund, which is commonly known as the “wolf corgi,” and a proud human parent to her adorable son Sullivan.
