Carolyn Sabat
Carolyn Sabat is the Managing Director of JADEC, LLC, a single-family office, where she oversees asset allocation, manager selection, and execution of investments across public and private markets. In this role, she leads underwriting and reporting processes, manages global investment manager relationships, and serves as Chair of the Investment Committee.
Previously, Carolyn spent over 15 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she was a Managing Director and global head of investment grade corporate bond trading. She led a team responsible for trading $160 billion in bonds and credit default swaps, built and maintained top-tier trading and capital markets relationships across major global investment banks, and collaborated closely with portfolio managers and research analysts on portfolio construction and risk management.
Carolyn is based in Houston, Texas, where she lives with her husband and three children. In addition to serving as a board member for the Center for Reproductive Rights, she serves on the board of Texas Children’s Hospital, where she chairs the Foundation’s Investment Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee. Carolyn is also a director of the Welch Foundation, a private foundation that funds fundamental chemical research in Texas. She additionally serves on the board of the Westlake Corporation. Carolyn received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University.
