Amy joined the Center in 2015. She is a member of the Judicial Strategy team, working on innovative legal strategies to advance the current reproductive rights framework.

Amy has worked as a social science researcher studying social movements, as a legal aid provider in civil and criminal areas, and for the American Civil Liberties Union. She has published in journals including the Law and Society Review and the NYU Journal of Legislation and Public Policy.   

Amy received a B.A. from Brown University with majors in history and biology, and a J.D. and Ph.D. in sociology from Northwestern University.
