President Trump signed an Executive Order establishing a “Religious Liberty Commission” to support the administration’s efforts to enforce the “robust protections for religious liberty enshrined in Federal law.” The Commission is made up of numerous anti-reproductive rights advocates, including:

  • Paula White-Cain, White House Faith Office Senior Advisor, who advocated for legal fetal personhood.
  • Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, who advocated for extreme abortion bans in Texas.
  • Dr. Ben Carson, who called for a national abortion ban.
  • Ryan T. Anderson, President of the Ethics & Public Policy Center, an organization committed to advancing anti-abortion policies nationwide.
