CNN reported that people with low-incomes would be most impacted by the Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. The Center is representing Jackson Women’s Health Organization (JWHO) in the case and oral arguments are scheduled for December 1.

CNN quoted Shannon Brewer, Director of JWHO, on why the case is so important for low-income Mississippians. She said, “These women can barely afford to come here [to access abortion care], much less go out of state.”
