The Center for Reproductive Rights submitted a comment in response to the annual Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters Rule for 2027, from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The comment opposed provisions that would make it harder for people enrolled in ACA plans to access reproductive health care and weaken requirements for plans to include enough providers, especially Essential Community Providers (ECPs)—trusted clinics and health centers that serve low-income and underserved communities.
