On January 30, 2023, United States Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Xavier Becerra visited the Whole Women’s Health (WWH) clinic in Alexandria, Virginia, for a tour and roundtable discussion organized by the Center’s Federal Policy and Advocacy team. The roundtable, which focused on abortion access after the overturning of Roe, featured Secretary Becerra; Amy Hagstrom Miller, Andrea Ferrigno and other staff from WWH clinics; Dr. Rachna Vanjani, an OB-GYN; and the Center’s Senior Federal Policy Counsel Liz Wagner and former Senior Counsel Jenny Ma.
