In this FOIA request, we sought information regarding whether the FDA was hiring political appointees through a special hiring authority granted to the FDA called Title 21 hiring, essentially allowing the Trump Administration to appoint highly partisan individuals in career roles at higher salaries than permitted for political appointees.
